1. The Territorial Defense Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan is an integral part of the defense plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan and includes plans for territorial defense zones. The Territorial Defense Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan is being developed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Plans for territorial defense zones are developed and approved by the akims of regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital in coordination with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. Territorial defense plans of administrative-territorial units (villages, towns, rural districts, districts in cities, towns, districts), if necessary, are developed and approved by the akims of the relevant administrative-territorial units in coordination with the akims of regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, and are an integral part of the plans of territorial defense zones.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of territorial defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
